I have built an active customer list on both our Facebook page and our email marketing list. I am also the MC of our monthly charity breakfast that earns worldwide renown.
I excel at direct face to face contact and I am always the key man at trade shows.
As part of an evolutionary change in our family business I moved my focus from inward looking to outward facing. As the Operations Manager I was focused on our companies productivity but as Marketing Director I am focused on customer relationships. This change put a family name and face where I could make, build and improve customer relationships. As part of this change I canceled most of our print and direct mail advertising and adopted a more lean eMarketing policy. I grew our email newsletter subscribers from a small list to over 50,000.
I also helped to refocus our marketing and sales efforts away from our traditional products to a more profitable product line that we already owned but did not push. This is now the product line that is the highest producing and most profitable line in our business.
As part of our change in marketing I now host a monthly charity breakfast event that draws hundreds each month and garners great PR around the world. I post this event, as well as all other news, on our company Facebook and Twitter pages. We have a very loyal following and our "friends list" is growing very nicely. We are now producing videos that push our products and events through our social media sites and we currently receive 20,000 "video views" each month and our ebay site show a nice steady growth.
Because I was involved with the creation of most of our products I am still the tier II or tier III technical

I am a Partner here at MnD Media and anything involving a camera or a balance sheet is my responsibility. I direct and co-ordinate the production crew on larger jobs, work like a one man band on the smaller ones, and every wednesday I'm the guy rushing to get payroll out.
As for my background I started off in TV, went thru college for digital media and then film. I worked on a few feature films and then got a staff job doing aerial camerawork. Now I'm a partner here, but I do still work in TV doing some talkshows and what not on the weekends.

I guess you could say I'm the computer brains behind the company. I have a long and extensive background using computers since age 4. My father showed me how to write dos batch files before I could ride a bike. Plus growing up on an Air Force base in California gave me a lot of access to technology and people familiar with it.
I always enjoyed going to the repair shop in the building my dad's office was located in and look at all the different devices and tools laying around. Plus we had a computer in the house ever since I could remember, even before we had a TV with cable!
I have over 10 years experience working with websites and the internet in particular. These days it is becoming all to uncommon for web designers to rely on programs to do the work instead of knowing how to do the work that needs to be done. I am familiar with every aspect of websites from server operation, domain name issues, and different scripting and markup languages used today.
